Getting to central Tokyo

About 20 minutes to Tokyo Station on the JR Sobu Rapid, and 30–40 minutes to Shinjuku or Shibuya via the Sobu or Toei Shinjuku lines. Narita Airport is about 60 minutes away with no transfers on the JR Sobu Rapid; Haneda Airport about 80 minutes with a monorail transfer. Tokyo Disney Resort is 30–40 minutes with one or two transfers toward the Keiyo Line.

The streets around Ichikawa and Motoyawata stations are full of restaurants — from familiar chains to family-run izakaya and ramen shops, you’ll never be short of options. The local specialty is the pear (nashi); in summer and autumn, look out for farm stands selling them fresh.
